Canning Council & Athletics WA Thor 10 Hammer cage Western Australia

The Canning Council and Athletics Western Australia have resurfaced their synthetic track and purchased a new Thor 10 Next Generation hammer cage. The 10m high cage with four support poles and high wind rating has made a big improvement to councils and athletics club throwing facilities. The Ern Clark Athletic Track is to be used for the 2016 World Masters Athletics Championships. Ern Clark Athletic Track is one of the best athletics facilities in Western Australia. The world-class championships, supported by the State government through Tourism WA, is set to be the biggest event on WA’s 2016 calendar with more than 4,000 athletes and 3,000 supporters.
